Indomethoxacin is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAIDs), which has anti-inflammatory, antipyretic and analgesic effects. It plays an anti-inflammatory role by inhibiting cyclooxygenase and reducing prostaglandin synthesis, while the antipyretic effect is related to inhibiting prostaglandin synthesis in the hypothalamus.
